At BDA, we believe in empowering our fellow Developers. We are witnessing a unique period of the Real Estate sector since the past many years where due to the many changes in Government policies and unreasonably heavy premiums, the project costs have become very high and has resulted in higher sale prices. This has in turn resulted in a reduced demand, since the flat prices have become out of reach for many potential purchasers.
 
Thus Developers are facing a liquidity crunch and are in urgent need of finances to complete their projects. Many Developers doing redevelopment projects have over the years managed their project finances through private financers and have not taken institutional loans. Since private financers are vary of the current market scenario, these Developers are now finding themselves in a tight situation.
 
BDA recognizes this aspect and has therefore collaborated with leading Financial Consultants to address the fund requirements amongst its members. These consultants have more than 30 years field experience and will be able to guide Developers and help them raise the finances through appropriate Banks and NBFCs. They will even guide our members regarding accessing to the Government of India announced SWAMIH fund.
 
BDA has created a Finance Sub Committee which will also liaison with leading Banks to create awareness amongst them about the typical issues that Developers face in Redevelopment projects with respect to Mortgage, etc. Since the land is not owned by them. 
 
For BDA, this is only one more step towards fulfilling its objective of being a strong support system for its members. We have created a vertical known as “BDA SAHAY” which will take up this Finance issues of its members. Our team will put you in touch with the Financial Consultants and if necessary even talk to Banks and NBFCs if there are specific issues that need our intervention. At BDA, it will be our mission to ensure that all our members complete their projects successfully and no Society members / tenants / Slum dwellers remain without a roof over their heads!
